Shipping Policy
WHAT CARRIERS ARE USED FOR SHIPPING?
We use USPS, UPS, FedEx, and general commercial and private delivery shipping carriers to deliver all orders. What carrier we use for your specific order depends on the product, the time of year, the weather, the weight, and what the order consists of, in addition to the departure and arrival locations. While we would love to honor personal favorite shipping company requests, The Wholesale Food Co reserves the right to ship all shipments to any buyer with the discretion of our own choice of carrier. We do NOT allow buyers to choose carrier, or use their own accounts for shipping purposes.
UNCLAIMED SHIPMENTS
Unclaimed shipments is when a buyer makes a purchase, and shipper ships the package and the buyer either misses the delivery, refuses delivery, or does not claim delivery. All shipping addresses are posted on the website itself. We 100% do not refund any unclaimed shipments. All charges and fees are final on all shipments once purchased and we do not exchange, refund or reship an unclaimed shipment. No Exceptions.

HOW DO I PAY & SET UP SHIPPING
Shipping fees are the full and sole responsibility of the buyer. No order will ship unless full shipping charges are paid. In addition, final shipping charges can change after delivery due to buyers arrival address, arrival conditions, and other shipping courier factors. If the price changes in form of increase or decrease, The Wholesale Food Co. is absolutely NOT responsible and buyer will be fully responsible for any and all additional fees immediately. Such fees will be charged immediately to any credit cards on files, and or requested/demanded at time of delivery. This rule is not negotiable. Shipping is paid for prior to order departing our facility and at time of shipping department requests, except for any exceptions placed by shipping company during the actual delivery. We will NOT hold any orders due to shipping fees that are unpaid. Any orders with unpaid shipping will result in immediate cancelation and suspension of ordering privileges. SHIPPING IS PRE PAY ONLY. NO EXCEPTIONS!
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS LOST OR DAMAGED?
There are many factors that can affect a shipment, such as natural disaster, weather, road conditions, courier equipment conditions. These are all factors you much consider at time of placing order. While we rarely ever have any issues, they can and do happen. Any orders that arrive with spoilage, damages, losses, or any scenario that is similar to any of these conditions including an incomplete order are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Our orders go through a three point check at time of shipment. If your order is incomplete we will place an immediate inquiry, however, it is the Buyer responsibility to file a claim with carrier. The Wholesale Food Co will NOT file a claim on behalf of your loss or needs. We will absolutely assist where we can and if we can, however we commit to no legal or ethical obligation regarding filing said claim or assisting with it , the person paying for the shipping is the responsible party for the product once the products and order leaves our warehouse. We will not refund, replace, exchange or reship any order without full payment. No Exceptions. We reserve the right to cancel any orders that we feel may risk loss or damage due to any reason without notification, or warning.
WHAT IS THE FREE SHIPPING POLICY
Free shipping policy ONLY applies to orders that qualify for free shipping depending on what promo is active at time of order.
In addition, we do NOT offer or honor free shipping for any of the following shipping locations: Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, Alaska, or any countries or states outside of the immediate USA. We also do NOT offer free shipping to any military locations or APO/FPO or any thing similar to this scenario.
WHAT ARE THE PROCESSING & HANDLING TIMES
Generally all orders are processed within 1-5 business days. All orders are subject to policy handling times, in addition to courier and shipping times and processing times. Handling times vary any where from 1 business day up to 14 business days. Every order depending on size, product, location of delivery, stock availability, and many other factors will affect our shipping and processing times. Some orders will come from multiple locations, multiple warehouses and will need additional processing and handling times. We reserve the right to change these time frames based on order processing needs. If an item is out of stock, the item is placed on back order and shipped once stock is refilled. Buyer can request refund instead of out of stock list placement. It is buyers responsibility to make such request. Any refunds pertaining to shipping and or out of stock will take 10-15 business days to apply to payment source.
WHAT ARE SHIPPING TIMES?
Shipping times will absolutely vary, and unfortunately this is not something in our companies control. Once a product ships, depending on the contents and perishable level of the order, orders generally arrive any where from 1-7 business days. While we understand the frustration of waiting for an order that you may need right now, The Wholesale Food Co. is absolutely under no circumstances responsible for how long a courier takes to pick up, and or deliver your order to your facility. They are a third party vendor that is used to transport your product to you from our warehouse. We do work diligently to make sure orders arrive without delay. It is in everyone's best interest of coarse to get orders into the hands of the buyer expressly, but the truth is that couriers have their own policies and process of conducting their tasks. If you feel you cannot wait the general delivery times, please feel free to request express shipping.
REFRIDGERATIN & PERISHABLES
In the food industry every variable counts when shipping consumable product. Weather, conditions, type of travel, length and time of travel, all these variables matter. For these reasons we do NOT ship any food or consumable products other than Monday Thru Wednesday of each week to ensure they do not sit in a shipping hub under dangerous conditions. For this reason we restrict our shipping days. Most of our items are food items and can melt, spoil, or stale if left to sit in uncontrolled temperatures.
In addition, if you order product that requires a refrigerated truck for travel and cooling elements to travel, it is your responsibility as the buyer to pay for such tools, and these services will be added to your total in addition to the shipping charges NO EXCEPTIONS. Be advised this is not something we request or discuss, this is a given, we will NOT ship any perishable and spoilable product without proper cooling security. Regardless of such techniques, in the event there is still spoilage you must follow the spoilage/damage policy to file a claim. Also, in the event a customer refuses to pay for refrigeration we do NOT refund any orders or cancel any orders without charging a 25% restocking fee. Perishable items that cannot remain without refrigeration are NOT able to be refunded or canceled regardless of whether they have shipped or not. These are considered special order items and are only stocked al la carte for each order. Canceling these orders would mean the product will not be able to be restocked, such orders are unable to be canceled or refunded.
MISSING SHIPMENT ITEMS
Inventory and Item check should be done at time of delivery. If there is any items missing, this may need to be filed as a claim. We do not assist in any missing items after product has arrived if not notified within 24 hours of shipment arriving. If there is an inventory shortage on an order, please confirm that it is not a B/O or an O/S and or that it is not arriving with a separate shipment or courier.
GENERAL SHIPPING RULES
We reserve the right to ship orders in multiple shipments, with multiple carriers.
We reserve the right to cancel any item, on any order without notice.
We reserve the right to cancel any order without notice or information
We reserve the right to refuse service to any one without notice
We reserve the right to select, ship & utilize any courier we choose to secure the loads we ship
We reserve the right to change/extend/remodel any and all handling times or processing times if we deem necessary.
